The decision of needing a water filter system should be easy for you to answer. Unless you are 100 percent sure your water system has no contaminants, then I highly recommend getting yourself a pH water filter to purify your water.

The question now becomes, which one should you get? I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it should be the ROES-PH75 from APEC Water Systems.

Expertly Designed Filter

I think an excellent place to start is with APEC’s filter. Simply put, this is incredibly designed.

The mineral cartridge adds premium calcium carbonate (made from the USA), this precisely raises the pH level and gives the water an incredibly rich flavor.

That is especially ideal if you prefer alkaline water. Longevity shouldn’t be an issue with this filter because APEC built it to last a very long time to provide you with unlimited drinking water.

The Way It Filters

Not only is the filter incredibly designed but the way the system actually filters the water is as well. When the ROES-PH75 starts filtering, it goes through a six-stage process.

This process is the exact same one that is used for APEC’s ultra-popular ROES-50 water filter system.

Up to 99 percent of organics, cysts, viruses, bacteria and chemicals will be removed during filtering.

Combined with the filter itself, this provides you with the best drinking water possible.

No Need to Worry about Leaking

There is no doubt in my mind that one of your biggest fears when looking for a proper water filter system is leaking.

Even if I am wrong, it’s still something that you are at least somewhat cautious of.

Either way, you will not have to worry about leaking with the ROES-PH75 as the fittings are both highly durable and leak-free.

Easy Install and Lifetime Support

There is one huge advantage that the internet provides us. If we have a question about something, we can just look it up online.

If you have any problems during installation APEC has provided online step-by-step instructions for you to follow.

Alongside this, they also offer you free support for the entire lifespan of your water filter.

Now, this is not a warranty just a way for the company to assist you if you have any issues.

A Few Downsides

Everything is with flaws, so it shouldn’t be a surprise when I tell you that there are a few downsides to the APEC pH water filter system.

Firstly, although they claim it’s fast, the filter process can take a long time.

Secondly, you will end up spending a lot of water as the amount of water you put in the system will not be the amount you end up with (due to all of the chemicals and bacteria being removed).

These downsides don’t stop me from fully recommending you to go to Amazon to invest in this system.

Other options

Alternative #1: iSpring 6-Stage Water Filter

Let’s just say you like the APEC pH water filter, but you want to see other options. I completely understand, which is why I am going to offer up to you some suitable alternatives. First up is the iSpring 6-Stage water filter system. Much like the APEC, this system uses a six-stage process that filters up to 99 percent of over 1000 pollutants. What’s really cool about this water filter is it uses a four-color tubing system to simplify the installation process.

The biggest, and really only, issue is that the O-ring that comes with the water valve is not well designed. It’s both flimsy and thin and if there are any water leaks, it’s probably because of this.

Alternative #2: LiquaGen Water Filter System

Yet another filter system that implements the six-stage reverse osmosis process is the filter from LiquaGen. Once again, this results in up to 99 percent of chemicals and bacteria being removed. For one day, this filter is designed to output 75 gallons. This makes it ideal for a family of up to six people. All of the components that are used in this system are also certified by the National Science Foundation. The tubing, on the other hand, is certified by the FDA.

Be warned, the quick connect fittings (that are pre-installed) may not be screwed in all the way. Unfortunately, without cutting the lines to where the O-rings are seated it’s impossible to tighten them. It can be fixed by cutting the lines, but that results in you needing to purchase new quick connect couplings.

Alternative #3: Aqua-Ionizer Air Water Life Filter

I am going to say this about the Aqua-Ionizer water filter from Air Water Life, it’s a beast. There are seven healthy water options: four ionized alkaline, one non-ionized purified and two ionized acidic presets. Also included is a built-in carbon water filter that is very long-lasting (built to cleanse 1585 gallons of water). It also uses advanced technology to allow you to customize the amount of pH balance from your tap water.

The biggest drawback is without a doubt the price tag. Unless you buy it used (which I don’t recommend at all), you will be paying a pretty penny for this.

APEC is the Way to Go

Alright, level with me here for a second. After reading about all of these systems, is there one better than the APEC ROES-PH75?

Sure, you could just say I focused on that one the most but if you dig further you will realize that I was right!

Honestly, though, the filter is absolutely elite, the filtering process is state-of-the-art and eliminates 99 percent of chemicals and bacteria, the fittings are protected from leaks, and you get lifetime support from APEC.

Please, do yourself a favor and head over to Amazon to invest in yours today. Trust me, you won’t be sorry that you did!
